hi, i thought i should finally introduce my self here! i have a lot of pullips and have recently gotten some new ones (including ceri below). i have a fourrure coming soon!

TONS more pictures introducing my dolls!Collapse )

i was wondering if any of you read doll magazines (actual magazines, not online ones) and what are your favorites? oh, and if you know of cool doll websites, either places to buy things or forums or whatever, that would also be appreciated!

are there good english language books about japanese dolls? or am i hoping for too much?

if you have seen these pictures before, just ignore this post.

Here's a huge toy someone of us may wish could go out in the front yard. Perhaps with an even more convenient fig leaf, also, though.

umm yeahCollapse )

This is what I just bought as a present for myself. I think I will be able to wear them every day and for clubbing and larping too, and they will keep my coat and trousers out of the mud - they are, surprisingly for high heels, very comfortable. Am very pleased with myself.

I've just finished and listed my winter custom My Little Pony. Definitely a not-for-kids pony.

Hello [Dec. 13th, 2006|10:25 am]

Hi, I'm Jackie. I have alot of video games, right now I'm mostly into Nintendo. Since Nintendo currently is the only game company, taking female gamers seriously. I've always liked stuffed animals. I like cartoons alot, I watch Cartoon Network & Nick.

Do any of you find it interesting, that in the US it's considered childish, to like the toys you liked when you were younger. Or to like the new kid toys? It seems it's not like that in Japan, if anything it's normal in Japan to like kid things. I mean, they have a Pokemon airplane. I don't understand why it's considered weird in America to like what you like. It's you have to like "adult" things past a certain age. Maybe it's because I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is a higher-functioning for of Autism. I don't get that at all, why waste life being an image rather than enjoy it. Even if enjoying it does mean, playing with the same types of toys you did when you were 4.

Does anyone like Tamagotchi? There are Tamagotchi games for the Nintendo DS, called Tamagotchi Corner Shop. They recently released the sequel, Tamagotchi Corner Shop 2. It's not a virtual pet game, it's like a game made up of mini-games. Alot of them involving some sort of artistic outlet. All the games use the stylus only. I think those of you who like the extreme cutness of things from Japan would love the Tamagotchi Corner Shop games. If you want more info, feel free to do research on sites, but ignore the poor reviews. They claim the games are repetative, but you're doing things like designing cakes, and clothes...ect, that stuff is fun.

P.S.: I tried to keep this short. I'm a LJ newb, and I don't know how to do that cut-link thing. So if anyone would like to PM me, explaining how that works, I'd really appreciate it.

Brand new member here.

I'm a member of CF and only remembered recently that I'd mentioned My Little Ponies on the CF group and someone was interested in them.

I recently started collecting the new MLPs (I'm an addict, and I admit it), and have started customising them.

The comm info says to LJ-cut this.Collapse )

Meanwhile, I get to try to jury rig some kind of... something... to hold my ponies up on the filing cabinet I have them magnetised to.

Hi there! I finally joined this community after lurking for, oh, I don't know how long. I'm minami63 and I'm ... 40ish.  I thought I would grace my introductory post with one of my absolute favorite toys... Voltron, Defender of My Kitchen Counter. (No joke... that's where I've got him! Right next to the spare Tinkertoy container that I store my popcorn in! ) The joy with being childfree is being able to live in a completely *not* childsafe environment.
