Childfree with Inner Children
Hi, I'm Jackie. I have alot of video games, right now I'm mostly into Nintendo. Since Nintendo currently is the only game company, taking female gamers seriously. I've always liked stuffed animals. I like cartoons alot, I watch Cartoon Network & Nick.|
Do any of you find it interesting, that in the US it's considered childish, to like the toys you liked when you were younger. Or to like the new kid toys? It seems it's not like that in Japan, if anything it's normal in Japan to like kid things. I mean, they have a Pokemon airplane. I don't understand why it's considered weird in America to like what you like. It's you have to like "adult" things past a certain age. Maybe it's because I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is a higher-functioning for of Autism. I don't get that at all, why waste life being an image rather than enjoy it. Even if enjoying it does mean, playing with the same types of toys you did when you were 4.
Does anyone like Tamagotchi? There are Tamagotchi games for the Nintendo DS, called Tamagotchi Corner Shop. They recently released the sequel, Tamagotchi Corner Shop 2. It's not a virtual pet game, it's like a game made up of mini-games. Alot of them involving some sort of artistic outlet. All the games use the stylus only. I think those of you who like the extreme cutness of things from Japan would love the Tamagotchi Corner Shop games. If you want more info, feel free to do research on sites, but ignore the poor reviews. They claim the games are repetative, but you're doing things like designing cakes, and clothes...ect, that stuff is fun.
P.S.: I tried to keep this short. I'm a LJ newb, and I don't know how to do that cut-link thing. So if anyone would like to PM me, explaining how that works, I'd really appreciate it.
